This was taken in a Srilankan airlines flight bound to Chennai, India from Colombo, Srilanka. The images below are from a recent trip I made to India - to visit my parents and friends. What followed were some very exciting times photographically (there were the challenges of keeping in touch with loved ones - that's a pandora's box). The flight from Iowa City to Chennai was a grueling 27 hours - and what sucked even more was I wanted to get a seat adjoining the window but didn't until the last leg of the air journey (I thanked all the gods in the whole damn universe for the favor).
